Spinoff to visiting hospital today...

I have to say, I'm getting VERY nervous now. I thought that since this was my 2nd child I wouldn't be nervous..but I am. I'm sure it has a lot to do with the fact that it's been so long for me since I've gone through this, and honestly I'm just beginning to worry alot.

Is this normal..

Normal... I'm getting nervous too! I keep telling myself that every person was born and women have done this for years and years. If I'm able to deliver, or they have to carve her out, she'll be out and I'll recover eventually.

Once I'm done convincing myself it's going to be OK, I move on to being freaked out about holding and caring for a newborn! I've never held a small tiny baby before! Only if I was in the hospital and they handed me my friends baby and then, took the baby back. I never left the chair, or moved the baby.

I have a feeling this is how I'm going to be. I've had friends have babies, held them..but there is nothing like holding your own. I'm looking forward to that..but at the same time, just worry and hope that everything will be ok.

Have to stop watching TV ...it doesn't help with all the crazy stories I've been seeing lately.
