Honestly, I thought I was going to want pj's. And I was so wrong.
Since I had a c section, the first day I stayed in the hospital gown. I was in so much pain, I didnt care what I was wearing. The second day I took a shower and wore a nightgown. The third day I finally wore comfy yoga pants. I found the nightgowns were easier for them to look at my incision and stuff too.
To go home..I had to wear pj bottoms and a t shirt. NOTHING fit me. I was SO swollen and everything just hurt. I had to wear my slippers home too, my feet fit into nothing. But my swelling was really bad.

I don't remember? lol
I think I wore maternity jeans and a cut small maternity turtleneck the day I went home - I do remember the nurses laughing saying that I was in regular clothes already but I was really in maternity - just didn't look like it.
The day I took my son home (about 3 days later) I know I wore regular sweats and a baggy sweatshirt.

I wore my regualr clothes home and flannel pajama pants and a big Tshirt in the hospital

I actually was very lucky and wore all my reg clothes the day I gave brith in the hospital onward!

I had c-section, the following day, the nurse had me put on 2 hospital gowns, one with back open and one over it with back closed so nobody could see anything.
The following day, I wore a nightshirt with a pair of sweatpants.
Going home, I wore regular sweats and a tshirt

I bought large regular pjs for the hospital and then had a maternity sweatsuit for going home.
