Spinoff: What does your DC do that drives you bananas?
In good fun
Trying to change Christopher is like wrestling a pig. He flips around, jumps and head butts

She wont go ANYWHERE without her two stuffed animals. It's adorable, but I get so stressed that we'll lose one somewhere.
And lately she's been trying to play with the toilet brush

Stands up in the LR chair or sits 2 inches from the edge or it. Fell a few times already.
This is the reason for time outs lately.

Re: Spinoff: What does your DC do that drives you bananas?
he HATES learning. hates it.
Today he got mad at me...he comes up with a paper and pen and says "A"
that's to show me he wrote "A"
I say that' great (its no where near being an A)
So, I get another piece of paper, write a big A on it and ask him to trace it...he tells me no, his is an A.
This on going game of charades.
and the nebulizer treatments...I know its not his fault...but ughhhh...and then brushing his teeth afterwards.

Lately, changing has been difficult. He walks/runs away from me, kicks, whines and then when I finally get him on the table, he laughs hysterical at me...
HaHa Bry...*I* won...*I* should be laughing!

Re: Spinoff: What does your DC do that drives you bananas?
Um, when she yells out in the middle of the store, "Mommy...you farted!!!" when CLEARLY I did NOT She finds this absolutely hysterical to do in the store When she tries to "drink" everything out of her plate or bowl. Things like chicken, or mashed potatoes or rice. Gee, thanks daddy for teaching her to drink the leftover milk from her cereal

Re: Spinoff: What does your DC do that drives you bananas?
DS: plays ball in the house. All. the. time. He's throwing the baseball against the wall and makes diving catches for it.
DD: oh so many things but I'll pick one. or two. She has to pick her clothes. And it must be pink. let's just say her entire wardrobe is NOT pink, so getting her dressed some days has me stressed!! potty training. she knows, just doesn't want to be bothered.

Re: Spinoff: What does your DC do that drives you bananas?
He is simply relentless....
If he wants something he just will not take NO for an answer. This is especially true when it comes to the remote, the telephone, my cellphone (he calls Aeriell all the time), my keys, the laptop, and Marianna's Binky.
I just keep telling myself that someday his persistance will pay off...

Re: Spinoff: What does your DC do that drives you bananas?
OMG-the one about farting in the store-I almost pimp!!!
ok here goes: 1-rips the keys off of my older ds laptop-all the time! 2-IMPOSSIBLE to change his diaper!! 3-Throws his drink cup off of the highchair-looks at me and laughs! 4-He wants to eat dog treats, put his hands in the dog bowls, take things out of the trash(so gross) 5-Most annoying- ds quietly empties the Poland Spring cooler all over the floor(do they make a lock for the cold water?)
That's it for today!

Re: Spinoff: What does your DC do that drives you bananas?
DS is three so he does tons of things that drive me insane. Some of the worst: if we go to the store - any store - he has to hold his arm out as we walk by anything (display of cereal boxes or shoes or racks of clothes) and hit them all so they fall off the shelves and racks. Luckily he hasn't done this to anything breakable yet. If I am correcting him about something and he doesn't like it, he will put his face within an inch of mine and scream at the top of his lungs (which is extremely loud) or he'll wag his little finger in my face and say "Don't you talk to me that way - you can't say that to me - no YOU need a time out" as if I have no right to parent him. I think I am in trouble when he's a teenager.

Re: Spinoff: What does your DC do that drives you bananas?
Andy: He refuses to use an inside voice. No matter how many times I ask him to. I have such a headache by 7pm every day.
Sarah: She must wear something pink every day. I know it doesn't seem like such a big deal but we've had some huge meltdowns over a shirt not having enough pink on it.
Something they both do together: We have loose back pillows on our couch & love seat in the den. They like to pile them up and then leap off the pile onto the couch, which has a very low back and is in front of a brick wall. Andy nearly cracked his head open on the wall this week when I was cooking dinner. Today I come down with a load of laundry and hear Sarah say "QUICK! Put the pillows away before Mommy sees!"

Re: Spinoff: What does your DC do that drives you bananas?
Pull his clothes out of his drawer after I just folded and put them away.
Pull my books off the bookshelf in my den constantly.
Take out all my tupperware and throw it on my kitchen floor.
Throw his food on the floor for the dogs when he doesnt feel like eating what I give him.
But I still LOVE him
ETA:
Throws his toy cars into the dogs water bowl.
Eat the dog food...he makes noise so I look at him, than grabs dog food puts in his mouth and runs away laughing when I start chasing him
