I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January, had a mastectomy, did 6 rounds of ugly chemo and got a clean PetScan on July 21. I did 5 weeks of radiation just to try to be another nail in the coffin of it not coming back. Let's pray it works.
As a present to myself I bought a 2011 Chevy Camaro - black. It's hot.
DH tore his ACL 2 weeks ago and needs surgery in 3 weeks.
It's been a helluva year. I have another PetScan on December 27 and I'm praying it's clear again.
Here's hoping to a better 2011

Ours:
Twins were born. A few weeks early but they are healthy and adorable!
We moved to a new house... its huge and has an acre of property with a lot of potential. it will be our forever home.
We sold our first home in a weekend, which we are so thankful for in this economy.
Things could not be going better for me at work... even though I am half-time.
Thats the good stuff.
The bad stuff:
We are selling my deceased mothers home. I am very sad about this but can no longer afford or have the time to upkeep another house.
My uncle was severly injured in a near-drowning on the 1 yr anniversary of my mother's (his sister) death. It is going to be a long road for him. Financial troubles his family.

Had a baby. Got a dog. Considered returning the baby. Decided to keep her. Still thinking about returning the dog. Spent way too much on holiday gifts this year. You're all getting gum next year. Happy Holidays!

We got married and can't afford to buy a house so we live in an apartment the size of a shoebox and essentially have no space for a baby so... if you want us to make babies soon please send large sums of cash monies.

Got married, bought a house, almost lost my husband in a work related accident on our 2 month wedding anny but he was spared w/injuries he will heal from and
Saw DMB b/f they went on hiatus for about a year.
Knows what to truly be thankful this holiday season!

I finally moved back to NY where I'm happy

We got prego and had a baby!!
We bought a beautiful home!!
I bought a car and paid off my dh's car faster than expected!
2010 was a great year for us ..lookin forward to 2011 too!

Got married
Ran my first 5k, 10k, and half marathon
Ran a second half marathon and beat previous time by over 3 minutes
Got in much better shape.
Completely renovated our first apartment together
Got an amazing job that I love and pays very well.
