SPR: Anyone have a ford escape or honda cr-v
My husband and I currently only have 1 car, and it's a honda civic. We want to get a second vehicle and think it should be bigger.
If you have the escape or cr-v, do you like it? Does it have good space for the carseat and storage?

Those are completely different cars. You can't compare them. One is a compact, the other is a small SUV.
In term of "quality" and resale value, the Honda CR-V is very good. The Ford, not so good.
It really depends on what your needs are.
The Focus is a step down from your Civic.
The CR-V has a bigger trunk than your Civic. So much easier for a stroller to take in and out.

We have an older focus (2001) and I HATE it. It is sooo uncomfortable to sit in. It's got great storage and the seat (we have a Britax Marathon) fits really well in it. my mom has the CR-V and I love it. The storage is also good, and so much more comfortable! I prefer the height of the SUV too - easier to get the baby in and out of the car.

We have a 2001 Escape and love it. My husband drives it and he has had no problems with it at all! Two car seats fit great and plenty of room for strollers and other stuff.

I have a CRV and my friend had an escape. Unless they've seriuously changed the newer models, my CRV has a lot more room in the backseat and trunk.

we've had a mazda tribute since 2003 and it is the same as the ford escape. we like it and haven't had any trouble with it at all!

We have an '08 escape hybrid and LOVE it. Plenty of room for 2 car seats and plenty of trunk room.

I have a 2007 CR-V and LOVE it!
Right now, in my trunk I have:
DD's pack and plan
Snap and Go
Regular Stroller
and plenty of room to spare.
