Ford Edge OR Honda CRV????

If any of you own either one of these cars, can you help me by posting some pros and cons to each of these cars please?

I really like these 2 and have narrowed my next car choice down to these two. I drive a small 2-door car and a crossover is going to be a big change as far as size for me, but I want something that isn't TOO big BUT has A LOT of room inside. I've seen both cars and have only test driven the Honda. From the looks of it, the Edge is NOT what I would considered "too big". I'm just unsure of which one is the roomiest of the two, has the best options and ride, which has better gas mileage and the least amount of issues.

We have a Honda CR-V and love it. It's an older model but it's been good to us.

DH normally wouldn't consider an American car, but we got a Ford Edge once when we rental a care and we really liked it.

I almost bought an Edge. Only b/c this is a car that DH actually fit in comfortably that wasn't too big for me (DH is 6'4) I loved the ride and the room but, the payments were crazy. Then again, this was a little over a year ago.

I have always been a fan of Honda (I've owned 2) and I finally rode in my friends CRV last weekend and I can't believe how much room she has in it. On top of the room, she's on over 200K miles! She loves the car and I think the CRV gets better gas milage.

We love our Honda CR-V. We leased both a Rav-4 and a CR-V a few years back. We will be either buying out the Honda or leasing another CR-V and trading in the Rav-4 for something different (we are hoping to get one more CR-V and have two). That is how much we love it! I was not impressed with our Rav-4 at all I have never driven an Edge so I can't say much about the car. But, I can say that we are so glad we got the CR-V.

My aunt has a CRV and it was a lot roomier than I thought it was going to be.

The CRV is going to get you better gas mileage because it's a 4cyl engine (as opposed to the Edge which is a 6 cyl). The CRV is also less expensive.

I had a 03 ford explorer which was very large, and I just got a 09 mercedes ML350
Its a little smaller than the ford but its more luxurious and i am very happy with the size. It has Alot of room in the back seat and in the trunk! and lots of features!

I am hoping to get a CRV in a few weeks. I don't really like American cars. I have a 2004 2 door accord coupe now & It is just not working out with having an infant. I will ALWAYS buy Honda & after that when I can afford to upgrade a little, I will most likely buy Acura because they use Honda parts. After the CRV I would like to get the Acura RDX.

Well, I have the Edge and I love it. I have no complaints about it. It's roomy, it fits my two kids, a stroller and groceries. It has the vista sunroof, which I love but it's a crossover so it sucks on gas.

Other than the gas thing, I love the car.

I have a 2006 Toyota RAV 4 and i LOVE it!
its roomy, but doesn't feel like i'm driving a boat... good gas mileage for an SUV ( i get about 25 mpg in town). very comfortable to drive- DH is 6 feet, and i'm barely 5 feet and we're both comfortable driving it.
only thing is...I have the 4 cylinder and its good, but i think if i was getting a new one now i would go for the V6, just to have more pick up merging on the highways and stuff. other than that, i never thought i would love a car so much! LOL

I have the CR-V and love it. I love the newer interior design/space. The trunk is big in comparisson to other small SUVs. The tire is no longer on the back door but in the trunk.

It's Honda's reputation for great engines. I have had my car for 2 years and not 1 problem.

I love the gas mileage, I love the way the car handles and even if it's a 4 cylander engine I never feel underpowered. It's easy to park.

I just love it!

For lease the Edge because it's adorable,to buy definitely the CRV You can't beat Honda on longevity..

We have two CRVs - and love them. Great gas milage (I had a volvo before this and loved it but enjoy driving the CRV more). Honestly when we got them - they were one of the highest rated small SUVs rated by Consumer reports - they last a long time, haven't had any huge service issues, and they hold their value better than a lot of other cars.

My dad is a ford guy and an expert mechanic and he'll be the first to say they aren't what they used to be. I have a honda pilot and I'm obsessed with it. My dh told his boss to test drive the crv because we loved our honda so much. He ended up taking it home that day.

my sil has the ford edge and loves it.

i keep hearing about all kinds of incentives to buy american cars - you may be able to get a really good price.

We have a Ford Edge - really like it. Had a couple of problems with it - but the service took care of it really quickly. There is a lot of room and I love the Sync features and the sunroom. It is an attractive car.

i don't know much about either vehicle, but DH and I are looking into buying a Ford Focus or Fusion and they are offering amazing deals right now like 0% financing. it might be something to look into if cost is an issue for you.
