SPR: Baking cookies
Whats most amount of days before a party you would bake cookies?
DS's baptism is Sunday and obviously I have lots to do and I was wondering when I should bake the cookies. I was thinking at least Friday. I'd put them in tupperware so they wouldnt get stale. Is this okay?
TIA

Earliest 2 days before. I would put them in an air tight container.

some recipes tell you how long they will last if stored in an air tight container.

Depends on what kind of cookies. I make the italian rainbow cookies and freeze them.

I would just put them in separate air tight containers at room temp.

Re: SPR: Baking cookies
I heard to stick them in an air tight container with a slice of bread to keep them from going stale, but i have never tried it.

Re: SPR: Baking cookies
You could do them today and I think they'll be fine. Stick them in an air-tight container with a slice of bread. I do this all the time with my Christmas cookies; it definitely works!
