SPR: Bra shopping
SOoo I have one week before I start weaning DS It will probably take about a month to get him down to just morning and night but, my DH promised me a bra shopping spree when I am done breastfeeding.
However, between being PG and BFing for a year.. It has been 2 years, maybe more since I have bought myself nice bras. I want quality and pretty. No escape hatches.. no full coverage beige messes... But, not silly lacy things that don't hide under any shirts.
Where do I go? I would think victoria's secret but, they are soo and I want quantity and quality. Plus, I feel like they are slacking in the quality department lately. I was a 34 D before nusing and went up to a 36E. I am pretty sure I am back down the 34 and I have no idea what the cup size is.. Honestly, if it is a D or DD I know I am going to have problems. I don't even think that VS carries a 34D. It's a weird size.
Soooo suggestions please. Where can I shop that has bigger cups and pretty stuff? I can't wait to reclaim my boobs!!

Re: SPR: Bra shopping
I always have great luck in Kohls. They have a big selection, are usually on sale, and very nice quality. Of course, there's no customer service or "measuring lady" there, so that's a downside. But I always do really well there.
Congrats on reclaiming your boobs!

Re: SPR: Bra shopping
I bought a few bras PP at Kohls. Not sure where you are located, but if you want a fitting, Georgettes in Hicksville or Mary's Corsettiers (sp) in Woodbury will measure and fit you.
Have fun!!!!!!!!

I love Georgettes. I will be going there for a fitting and one ugly beige bra for under my tees. I wish she had prettier stuff!

Re: SPR: Bra shopping
I personally hate VS bra's and they are not practical for people with boobs who need support.
I have always had good luck at Bloomingdales and I also second Mary's in Woodbury (my mom lives close by). I went there to get fitted and got new bras when I was prego, and the bras were a lot cheaper than what I normally pay-- AND they alter them for free.
