St Paddy's Day Menu!

What is everyone making?


I am making:
Appetizer: Irish Cheese w/ crackers
Corned Beef
Coleslaw
Potatoes
Salad
Marble Rye
Irish Soda Bread
Real Irish Butter



Not sure how to make the potatoes though. Any suggestions?

i just made corned beef and cabbage last night when my sister and her DH came over...
i did the corned beef and cabbge in the crock pot.
for the potatoes, i cut them up into small cubes ( like 1 inch cubes), then put them on a cookie sheet. i use a little EVOO, and sprinkle some montreal steak seasoning on them and mix it all around with my hands. Make sure the potatoes are in a single layer, and then bake them at 425 for about 20-25 minutes, depending on how crispy you want them these are also good as a side with burgers or steaks, too

We did bacon and cabbage on Saturday, Shepherds pie, soda bread. We got the Kerrygold butter and Irish brown bread.
My DH always just likes his potatoes boiled. but I always go for mashed with little chopped up pieces of onion in them.

We're doing leb of lamb (since my DH isnt a corned beef and cabbage kinda guy) with potatoes and irish soda bread.

I was going to buy the irish soda bread but down here in NC I cant seem to find it ANYWHERE So, looks like I'll be making it from scratch.
