I don’t understand the connection between this and the Titanic .
If it is the third class passenger stories, many of those are myths as they are portrayed in movies.
No, not that. I just made a silly comparison. Imagine when the Titanic went down- the boat that finally arrived to pluck the few survivors out of the water... I forget it's name- it was the closest boat but still quite far away. They heard the SOS form the Titanic and headed over to help but it took hours. What i was saying was imaging that was the days of Covid. The people still alive in the water, freezing to death and drowning and this rescue boat comes and only takes those that are vaccinated and left the others behind to die.
Of course that never happened and never would- but this story reminded me of that.
It wasn't a real life comparison- this story just made me think about that.

I guess not. That is why all this makes no sense. Even cruising. I can’t cruise if I don’t get vaccinated but a child can take a test to go on. It should be an option not mandatory.

St. Vincent and Evacuations....how does this make you feel?
This is what an article from "cruise news" says
"Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves said in a press conference that only vaccinated people from the island would be eligible to board the cruise ships to take temporary refuge on another island.
St. Lucia, Grenada, Barbados, and Antigua have all volunteered to accept evacuees, also on the condition that they be fully vaccinated against COVID-19."
Effed. Up...

Definitely. Especially since it's not a question of getting one vaccine and being done - even if you take J&J you aren't considered fully vaccinated for 2 weeks. And a volcano isn't going to wait.
