Stained wood fence
We just had a beautiful wood fence installed. DH went to buy the stain to do it later today and the guy at Loew's said to check with the fence company because they usually don't recommend to stain it for about a year so that the fence can dry out. Has anyone heard of this?
The nails are already starting to bleed and I can't stand the sight of a weathered fence.

We stained ours right away and it does look a little streaky now. We are going to have to re-do it. I'm not sure if my DH was not careful when he did it or if it was related to not being dried out enough.
