Stamped Concrete
ANyone have it done? If so... do u have any pics?
My husband wants to re-do the patio this spring with paving stones but I know they can be really really expensive.
Thinking of this as an alternative- Is it that much cheaper?
Do they have a range of colors?
Also, can they do a front stoop?
Thanks!

Re: Stamped Concrete
we got an estimate for stamped concrete patio and then on for pavers and they were both the same price.
we went with the pavers. it was better choice for us.
IMO stamped concrete, although nice, is still just concrete that will crack and turn in a few years, whereas pavers will stay the same for a long time

agreed. Pavers are worth it. It will also increase the value of your home.

Re: Stamped Concrete
Also, if you do crack a paver (dropping something on it, for instance), you can pop out the one bad paver, and replace it, instead of redoing all of the concrete.

Re: Stamped Concrete
Our driveway is stamped concrete (from the previous owners) and they put it in about 7 years ago and it still looks really good. You would never know it wasn't pavers unless you look really close up. I'm not sure how much it costs though....
