Starting to make babyfood and have a question
So I've been busy this morning making squash (first time I've ever even touched a squash!) carrots and apples will begin shortly.
What are you all freezing the food in? I have large freezer bags that the ice cube trays are in right now, but they are too big and would be a huge waste on such small cubes.
I was thinking of getting small regular snack bags, labeling them with the name of the food and use by date and then putting them in a larger "freezer" appropriate bags.
Any suggestions would be so helpful. Thanks!

Yay Donna!!!
I use the ice trays from BRU and freeze overnight. Then I run the bottom under hot water and pop them out. I use the smaller (maybe quart size) freezer bags and just label with food and date made.
I store these little bags in the freezer and just take from them when I need them.
I will say...I have a lot of the freezer trays since I make everything and do it one to two times per month.

I use the Quart sized Freezer bags. I usually have about two of those with one kind of food and just take out as many cubes as I need to use at one meal.
i print the date I made and the date expires on the front and type of food.

Thanks ladies! I was thinking of one bag for each individual cube - I def. want to make big batches too like you Ang so I will only be doing it once a month or so
