BREAKING NEWS: Apple says former CEO Steve Jobs has died. Stay with News 12 Long Island for more on this story.\
From Newsday:
Apple Inc. said the company's co-founder Steve Jobs died Wednesday. He was 56.
"We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today," the company said in a brief statement.
"Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve."...

My DH just text me to tell me. He is really bummed. He was an amazing man.
It is kinda heartbreaking that he made it until today - one day after the 4s announcement. Maybe he finally felt at peace seeing someone else do the presentation.

he saw the future and brought it to our horizon and made it a reality...he was a true innovator.
he was a tyrant, tough to work for but he brought such unparalleled change to an unprecedented number of people...he strove for the best and to be the best and he was.
so sad. too soon.
