I agree with the other Posters it's not consider a spoiler once it's aired, But i can understand from both views, Yes it is rude to post about what happened if someone didn't see the show, But at the same time if you think about it right after the show is over it's already on the News "Recaps" and they're showing the winner, Its also all over the internet
so the person who might have posted it on their status on facebook is nothing compare to what the media has already did.. I would complain to the news station, Radio station before getting upset at someone posting it on facebook..I was bowling on wednesday so i didn't see the show. I dont have DVR i taped it, So, Before i came on the computer i just watched the ending and than came on here. I'm sorry it got ruined for you.

I just googled the phrase Spoiler and the definition floating around the internet is:

When someone reveals a previously unknown aspect of something which you likely would have rather learned on your own.

Another def:
Spoiler is Genex slang for any element of any summary or description of any piece of fiction that reveals any plot element which will give away the outcome of a dramatic episode within the work of fiction, or the conclusion of the entire work. Because enjoyment of fiction sometimes depends upon the dramatic tension and suspense which arising within it, the external revelation of such plot elements can "spoil" the enjoyment that some consumers of the narrative would otherwise have experienced.

So its not a spoiler only if the programme has already aired...its a spoiler to give the plot away full stop.

I honestly never even thought about it.
But I don't ever DVR, so I always watch shows when they happen, or wait for a re-run. And if I happen to hear what happened before I see it, I don't mind because I know I missed the original airing of it.
I can't imagine why this would bother someone so much. It's tv.
