Go for your masters degree straight out of undergrad.
lol this is the advice i got from my dad. i'm a speech therapist, so i have to have my masters to practice. i wanted to take a couple years off after undergrad, and my dad made me stay in and get my masters. i'm SOO glad, too... so happy i don't ever have to think about school again!!

i spent a lot of my teen years in a marijuana haze which led to me doing poorly in school and being "too cool" to hang out with my family. Im glad I wised up!

For undergrad, pick a major that will lead to a career. Not something that will require some form of grad school to get a decent job anywhere.

Ask my mom more questions about herself and her upbringing, my parent's courtship and what I was like as a child.
I thought I had all the time in the world to learn these things and when I lost her at a young age it was like this whole encyclopedia of family knowledge was lost.

Don't let the smallest things get to you (fights with friends, boyfriends, school work, etc).
The world is a lot larger than YOU - don't sweat the small stuff.

Friends are an important part of a teens life, but don't completely neglect your family to hang with friends....you never know how long they will be around.
