Stomach virus? I'm so confused
My daughter threw up 2 nights ago around 5am. She never did again after that. She relaxed on the couch all day didnt eat much but was otherwise ok. By last night she was running around playing and finally regained her appetite. Last night around 12:30am she threw up again. Went back to sleep without any other episodes. I thought typically a stomach virus is more where u are sick fairly consistently until its over but this just seems weird to me. Any thoughts ? Debating whether to bring her to the doctor.

Same thing happened with my son more or less. Threw up all night Thursday night into Friday morning, was fine all Friday and threw up again Saturday at 1am. Was 100% fine as of yesterday, Sunday.

That happens to my sons too when they have stomach bugs - they will seem fine and then throw up randomly a couple of days later and then are fine again.

Happens to my son almost every time he has a stomach bug. He seems better, so he eats normally but his system isn't ready to handle it yet so it relapses. Just stick with the BRAT for a few days until the bug is totally out of her system.
