Strange question - what do you wear to the chiropractor?

WOuld you believe I have never been to a chiropractor? Well I am going tomorrow for the first time. Question - do you strip down like for a massage or do you wear clothes? I am stressing out bc the problem area is my hip and I def don't want to be in my underwear!!

i wear workout clothes (leggings/yoga pants) to the PT or chiro - and I go for my hip too!

You can wear street clothes. I go regularly and usually just wear jeans or yoga pants and a tee shirt. They will not make you undress.

I usually stop on my way home from work, so I wear whatever I have on.

Hi, I am a Chiropractor. You shouldnt have to strip down to your underwear. However, the Dr. might have you put on a gown and you MIGHT have to strip down if he/she is taking any x-rays.

Otherwise, the exam should be non invasive and he may want to exam the spine without a shirt on, however, you should be gowned.

For follow up visits. Whatever you wear to work, etc.. is just fine.

I've worn everything you can think of since I did go regularly for a time last year. In fact, there were days when I went in dresses and my chiropractor would lay a towel over me just so that I felt covered. My experience is that they're usually very professional about things and they work around whatever you are wearing with no issues!
