Stranger Danger - when to start having the talk.
DS1 is almost 3. He spends a ton of time outside the house, including daycare/preschool. I am getting anxious about stangers giving candy, etc to him (I noticed on Easter that he'll pretty much take anything anyone offers to him).
When did you have the "stranger danger" talk, and how did you reinforce it?
TIA

I asked this when my dd was about the same age, here's a link to the thread. Heather had good suggestions and I think Trish had a link to a video.

I think now is the perfect time. Probably the younger the better without scaring them.
I only have a 10 month old. Although I already had the drug, using protection, smoking, drinking and driving talk with him.
I guess I'll keep reiterating it too

Thank you for that link. Excellent, thanks! His school is starting on some level, but I don't want this to be something I just sit back & let someone else teach him. He is just so trusting and friendly. I'd hate for him to love that friendliness about him.
