Strangers...at what age did you talk to your children?
At what age did you start talking to your kids about staying away from strangers, not going with them, only go with parents/family, etc? How did you present it to them so they got it?

Strangers...at what age did you talk to your children?
DD is 2.5 and I've been 'talking' to her about strangers for a while now. She is a runner, so it 'helped' segue into that conversation, "if you run away from mommy, a stranger may take you," etc.

I just had this conversation with DS the other day, he's 4. He gets it and we practice on what he should do and say if anyone ever tries to take him. Before that, he didn't really understand what I was trying to tell him.
