stroller color - summer months

I really like the uppa baby vista in black but I am concerned about having a summer baby and having her outside for walks in a black stroller.

Do they get hot because they are black or would another color be just as hot?

I kinda like the slate grey color but something just seems nicer with the black one.

Anyone else concerned about stroller color in the summer or am i over thinking this?

Yes that was our exact concern. We registered for the Uppa Baby in Silver. We were going back and forth because we really wanted the black but decided on the silver because black gets hot fast.....

I didn't think about it. My baby is due in July so when I go outside with him/her I won't have them out for a long time and I will keep him/her in the shade. But then again the stroller I am registering for isn't completely black but had black in it.

I did it in the dark blue (the new color). I would have done it in black if this color had not come out. The way I looked at it is when the baby is in it you won't keep it in direct sunlight because the baby is in it. If it's in the shade it should not warm up that much.
