DH and I had a combined student loan debt of $170,000 - yes, you read that correctly (basically another mortgage). That debt was ONLY from law school for each of us (fortuantely we did not have undergrad debt) and even sadder, we both had partial scholarships and I lived home!
DH and I also have law school debt - somewhere around $140K or $150K. I'm not worried about it right now b/c the payments are low and it will eventually be paid off.

I don't have much student loan debt left - only about 3K - I pay $200 each month (more than double the minimun amount due)
I paid for my Masters Degree with cash to avoid high amounts of debt.

I think I have like $2K left from my undergrad ( I decided to pay for grad school in cash) and I think at 5.5% I pay like $70 somthing a month...Im not rushing with paying off this loan. I'd rather put our $ into our house fund.

I consolidated at 8%, back in I think the early 90's, when rates had been pretty high. I think it totally S U X that student loans can't be refinanced. 
Anyway, I have 45k; DH paid his off.
Also, if you make too much $$, your student loan interest is not even tax deductible. If you own a home, you might want to look into paying off your debt with a HELOC...that way, you get the deduction (and a lower rate of interest.)

Dh has ALOT of law school debt...we pay about 560 a month and condsidering he gets paid a salary that is RIDICULOUSLY low for an attorney it is a big burden for us to pay the loans

I owe $55,000... but, I consolidated at a really low interest rate, somewhere close to 2%, a few years ago, so I pay $286 per month.

I have around $10k left and pay around $250/month. I think I have 3 1/2 years left. I woudl've been done this November but, I deferred the loan when I was in grad school (they did it automatically and at the time I needed the extra $$). Luckily, my company paid for grad school!
DH is done in a few months!!! He pays about $250/month as well.

Combined DH and I owe about $42,000 consolidated at rates between 3-3.5%
Monthly it costs about $220

I only took loans for 3 semesters and the rest of the time I paid out of pocket, so I pay something like $118 a month.

I pay $126 a month. It's not bad, but it's a lot for me right now. I wish I had the money to just double pay it and get rid of it. But I still don't feel that bad about it. Styudent loan debt is "good debt." I wish I could get my credit cards down to zero, then I'd be a happy camper!

DH has about $120,000 in law school/undergrad debt and I have $60,000 in law school debt. I pay about $500/mo and DH pays $800/mo, so yes, it is a fairly large amount of our monthly expenses. another reason I adamantly try to deter anyone who thinks that that they will come out making tons of money from going to law school.
