Student teachers
Both of my older kids have student teachers this year, and have expressed that they want to give them a holiday gift. What’s appropriate for a student teacher? I’m giving the teachers $50 gift cards, so should I gift them $25 gift cards? Will the class moms collect for the student teachers?
Between sports, religion, and 4 kids in school, I’m going broke

I would do something really minimal if anything. A card from your child and a $10 GC to starbucks or something like that, if your kids want to.

I've always found that my student teachers really appreciated children's books that they could use as a read aloud or with a small group, post it's of all sizes, and sharpie markers!

Student teachers
When I was a student teacher in a high school, the gifts I liked best were the handwritten notes or cards. I don't have or remember any of the gifts but I still have all the notes and cards!

Student teachers
They will appreciate being remembered so really anything. A nice card, a $10 gc, a small gift. You may also want to find out how long they'll be there bc they likely won't be there much longer in case you want to do a card or small gift for their last day too. Not necessary ate all but just a thought.

Agreed! When I student taught best things I got were to set me up for my own classroom! I don’t teach anymore but when I did I used all the things I got!
