Stupid formula question...

I know that on the formula can it says "Discard 1Hr after feeding starts"

I have a couple questions...

1-If I take a bottle out of fridge, DS doesn't eat from it, and it's out of the fridge for more than 1 Hr, should it be thrown away?

2-If the bottle comes right from a room temperatur can and is out for more than an hour, should it be thrown away?


I ask b/c when we go out, sometimes the bottle will be taken and not used and it's more than 1 Hr (sometimes I take 2 and ony use 1 bottle) and I want to know if it should be tossed or not.

I believe that it is discard an hour after feed starts b/c their salvia starts to break down the formula after an hour.

Now I use powder I just mix the bottles when I am out, but before that if he hadn't started the bottle I would still use it after an hour and he was always fine.

I use the RTF and as long as I she hasn't drank from the bottle I would not discard it for 2 - 3 hours (cold or room temp.)

If she drank from it I do discard after an 1 or 1 1/2 hours.
