stupid mistake

DH and i kept our names totally private when i was pregnant with DS. we gave his initials but nothing else. we didn't want any negative feedback.

well this time i said i didn't care (and neither did DH) and we shared some names with my family.

well they were surprisingly cool but of course the one name DH and i both love for a girl they hate

lesson learned!!

I fight with my dad about this every time I see him. I have no gotten to the point that I tell him when he wants to carry my next child - and have his body cut open to deliver it - he can name it for me!

that is the exact reason why I don't tell my family our girl name choices. I did tell them our boy name choice, but I knew no one would have a problem with it, so i did not mind.

Of course one of my brothers had to pick on the middle name (which is after our grandfather) but I should have expected that from him.
