Stupid Questions - Raw Carrots
Are carrots an ok snack for a 21 month old? I am not sure if they are ok to give raw or if they have to be cooked?

I would definitely cut them up. A friend of mine's DS almost choked to death on one.
IMO I'd go with cooked.

My son is 2 years old and I have yet to give him raw carrots! I'm too afraid!

I don't give my son raw carrots and he's 2-1/2. Definitely a chocking hazzard. Most things I've read say to wait until they are 4.

I wasn't thinking of a choking hazzard, I was worried about nitrates....Thanks for the advice.
