Stupid thing about car seats

Ok, so most of us here at LIF know that a child's chest buckle on the car seat goes up by the child's armpits. I know this because someone posted it on here!

That said, I see SO MANY people posting pictures (mostly on Facebook) where the buckle is down at the child's belly button. It drives me crazy and I really want to tell the poeple (bc usually they're my friends!), but I don't want to come off sounding know-it-all-ish and when I'm commenting on a friend's child's cuteness, I don't see how a comment on the child's car seat is appropriate.

Anyone else run into this? Or am I alone in this?

Well my houdini pulls his down. He starts out at the armpits and end up close to the crotch buckle. IDK how he does it. Last week I went to get him out and BOTH arms were out. Just the crotch was in place.
