SUBSTITUTE TEACHING - $ QUESTIONS
what are the different rates people have been quoted for various districts as a substitute on Long Island? A friend is considering it and apparently all the districts pay differently
Max rate you have heard, min rate? Please list specific districts, if possible.

we had discussed this in previous posts.(so you can also do a search for more details if you'd like).
I think the lowest Ive heard is $85 (brentwood) and $175 (Wyandanch), but most districts are in between, closer to $100-$125.
she can call her local districts and ask HR.

Thank you for the advice - she is going to start calling some human resource depts.

Connetquot pays $90 per day 
Three Village about $115 per day
Northport $123 per day

west islip was either 125 or 105 a day. i don't remember its been 2 years

When I subbed in wantagh I think it was $82 but that was 5 years ago
