Success story
My sister adopted a dog who wasn't cared for properly by his previous owner. I saw him the other day, a black Lab named Coal, and I'm totally in LOVE
He's soooo well behaved. He's still a puppy which of course comes with it's own challenges but he no longer chews up wooden tables and chairs, when he wants to go out, he goes over to my sister and stands or sits in front of her making eye contact till she notices him and lets him out, he's learning not to jump up and calms down quickly after new people arrive, o accidents in the house at all and is so sweet and loving.
He's only crated for 3 hours a day and is now healthy with all his shots, no ear infections, eating well and not overweight.
I love happy endings. We hope to have a Lab soon to be a playmate for him.

Re: Success story
Awesome!!!
It's amazing what a difference a little love can make. We got Misty as a rescue cuz the people who had her couldn't "deal with it anymore"...after a few bad incidents she pretty much stopped chewing anything and was housebroken. Even my family says they never expected her to turn out to be such a wonderful dog. They hated her in the beginning.
