Funny, I do the opposite - I dip cauliflower in egg batter and saute them with bread crumbs, to get some protein in there for Alex - the little devil hates eggs!

Did you get that from "Deceptively Delicious" by Jessica Seinfeld? I saw this on Oprah and I thought it was BRILLIANT! I might try it out on DH!

yes - I don't know if this was one of her ideas - but it was inspired by her...and the fact that cauliflower is probably the easiest thing to hide in food since it's white.

Great idea. I guess if they can't see it, it's not an issue.
Go Mommy!!!

I usually get it from Zorns and my dd thinks it is mashed potata (as she says) if she only knew, but I would rather make it myself I have to pick up that cookbook..

Jessica Seinfeld hides carrots and spinich in brownies, so I bet you could put just about anything in meatballs.

See, if I tried that with my kids, they would spit it out because they couls taste it. They are super clever when I try to sneak food into things.

AWESOME Mommy!
I totally need to get that book and find ways to sneak veggies into Niko's food too.. he is not a veggie fan at ALL but if I put anything into a meatball I'm sure he'd eat it
