Sudden night waking in 4.5 month old
DS has been STTN (10-7) since the beginning of November. The past couple of days he has been waking at 3-3:30am looking for a bottle. I don't want to get him use to night feedings again
advice?

teething  this was DS. started at the exact same time. he was STTN for about 6 weeks and than started waking multiple times. he wasnt looking to eat, would just wake and then fuss until we went in to give him his paci or soothe him.
finally at 5.5 months, we did CIO. One night and he was STTN again. Cut two teeth at 6 and 6.5 months

I second the teething.
DD looks for a bottle when she needs soothing-even if she is not hungry.

My son was doing this too. It lasted a few days and then he went back to sttn.
He's 7.5 months now it still happens every now and then. But its not like its a permanent change so I'm sure you have nothing to worry about
