Ok, I just called....everyone that is above the 97.5 already are going to get letters to be interviewed.
Anyone with 97.5 or a 97 will be put in a drawing today.
She said that for every 7 people interviewed, only 1 makes it to the next level.
Do you know if the "interview" includes the physical fitness test?

No, the interviews didn't start yet. I would have your DH call Suffolk County Civil Service on Monday Morning to update his address. This way when they contact him for the interview they will have the correct address on file.

You have to pass the interview, then the psych test, then the polygraph and if you do you move to the physical fitness test. I think you also have to get a physical at some point as well.

My DH got picked!!! He already received his certified letter this morning! First meeting is December 17th!
Its a long process but our fingers are crossed!!! He is a CO with Nassau Sheriffs dept so i'm hoping that experience will help him through this!

Its a long process but our fingers are crossed!!! He is a CO with Nassau Sheriffs dept so i'm hoping that experience will help him through this!

From what i've read, they go to this meeting (MUST WEAR A FULL SUIT!!) and find out some information, then a few weeks later they will hear from their investigator who will guide them along the way.

I'm going to call if we don't see anything by tomorrow.
We did move, but we changed our address with them. AND rechecked that they had it updated in the system-which they did.

I think I'm going to go nuts-I just called the civil service office, they told me that no people with 100's were sent letters....only 97.5's.

They would'nt be processing lower scores before higher ones....
