Suffolk Halloween GTG, Sun 10/23 11am SUNKEN MEADOW
I've spoken with several people and either Cedar Creek is too far away, or they can only do Sunday, not Saturday.
If you can make it, great. If you can't, no big deal.
Sunken Meadow is free in October, and we can meet to the right of the main pavilion, there's a playground, picnic tables, and boardwalk access. Should make for great pics, too!
There are already 5 or so of us, anyone is welcome! Moms/Dads of tiny guys and girlies are definitely welcome, too. In the past, we've set up huge blankets and let the kiddies crawl/lay all over and make googley eyes at each other. 
Come in costume - parents too!
Anyone interested?
eta: i'm not going to organize anything as far as who brings what... just show up and hang out. 
IMO, the best thing to do is just bring drinks for your own child (sippy cup, bottle, whatever), and bring a snack for the group to share (munchkins or cupcakes or cookies, etc).

I will be out on LI that weekend splitting time between Lloyd Harbor and Central Islip....where is Sunken Meadow in relationship to those places?
my cousins sons' christening is that day, but depending on the time I would love to go.

All the way north, at the end of the Sunken MEadow Parkway. Just east of the Suffolk/Nassua border.
