I will be out on LI that weekend splitting time between Lloyd Harbor and Central Islip....where is Sunken Meadow in relationship to those places?
my cousins sons' christening is that day, but depending on the time I would love to go.
All the way north, at the end of the Sunken MEadow Parkway. Just east of the Suffolk/Nassua border.

Depends...you will have to go South to go North again from there. Form Islip area mostly North.

i'm not going to organize anything as far as who brings what... just show up and hang out. 
imo, the best thing to do is just bring drinks for your own child (sippy cup, bottle, whatever), and bring a snack for the group to share (munchkins or cupcakes or cookies, etc).

I'm pretty sure I'm free that day and Sunken Meadow is not far for us.
Almost 100% we will be coming.
My son is 2.5, is that a good age for the group that is going?
I wanted to go to the other GTG, but it is way to far for us. Happy there is a suffolk one now.

That would be me... Sorry that the day didn't work for some of you, but I couldn't change the date because a lot of people already said that the 22nd was good and Cedar Creek is an easy place to get to..

Can we put together a list of the yes responses, maybes, and kids ages. If you don't want to, I definitely don't mind doing it.
ETA: This could end up being (and hopefully will be) a big GTG, so it would be good to know what to expect. I went to the Cedar Park one last year and it was so great!

I know organizing can be a huge pain but ,I know some people like being able to see who is coming and what they are bringing so we dont have the same stuff. If you would like me to.. I have no problem doing it. I will make a list of who is a yes and a maybe and what they are bringing. If you add me to the original post tell everyone to FM me their name and what they are bringing. I will put a list together and then start another official thread. Totally up to you but I just wanted to offer my help.
