The Suffolk PD Test Results are Posted (See link below)... Select the Police Officer Exam from June.
Police Officer Exam Results
If you do control F and search by your name, your score will come up.
DH and I both got 97.5...
& now we might consider moving back to LI if one of us gets called!

I was on the last list and got called with a 90. They didn't call anyone below a 90 with that list.

That's GREAT!!!!
I know a few SCPO's and it's a great pay/benefits package. They have a completely different lifestyle than my friends who are city cops.

Who knows, she may end up in my DH's academy class!
I am not sure if I would take it if I got called... It's just so different from the field I currently work in (I have my MBA, and am working on my CPA). But, they do say even getting called is like "winning the lottery" so maybe I would go for it...
I am officially NOT thinking about it until I hear something from SCPD!

Does anyone know what the difference is from the regular test scores, to what they are posting for eligibility on the 27th? Is that a list of who they are calling?

Wow - just scoured the list and saw someone I know who did NOT do very well at all - I wonder if he studied - I know he has taken it before and doesn't seem to be improving - yikes, this will prob be crushing for his Father who was a PO and it is obvious to everyone that he wants him to be one too.

I saw someone I know with the SAME situation. I know he studied a LOT too. His dad (who is a PO) is going to be furious.
The guy isn't very nice though, so I sort of feel like for once that the whole "Karma" thing has worked out.

I'm not sure what the difference is, but now I am interested also!
I believe you get extra points for special things...Race, maybe veteran or prior work as PO? If these are the raw scores, they may not have the extra points included.

I spoke with DH last night...We have a family member and a friend take the test..both did VERY well..they make it a lotto system...
They think it is more fair that way, DH took the test back in the 1990's, got 100%, and was thrown out, SO Suffolk decided to take all the "top" scores and put it in a big fish bowl, somewhat, and make a lottery so even if you got the highest score you still could not get in based on their lotto. SU-CKS!!!!!!!!
Best of luck for all those going down for the Lotto!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not only do you have to pass a lottery, you have to pass a very intense investigation.
