Suggest a "big" SUV
We are looking to get a new car. We have 4 boys. Looking for something with good sitting space, as well as trunk space. I really like the Armada and Escalade, but the 2013 escalade seems to be not so great based on reviews i read, and I don't think the Escalade is big enough for us! Thanks
Also, is it really hard to drive a big car Am I going to be driving through spots for the rest of my life!!!

My XH had 11,000 Suburbans. He and his wife have 5 kids when everyone is there. They loved them. They just got a used Expedition (don't really ever have all 5 kids anymore) and it's much smaller in the trunk they say. And narrower.

The Infiniti truck is my next truck . We currently have the pathfinder and I would go to the Armada but they haven't changed it in so long ...
BUT Infinity is Nissan except their luxury brand and I swear by Nissan. They make a great product.
ETA : I was talking about the Infiniti JX... The truck is the same size as the Armada..

When I was looking, looked at the Acura MDX - its beautiful. I test drove it and really liked the way it drove, but decided to go with a car instead of an SUV

My parents just got the Buick Anclave (or however you spell it). It seats 7 people and the truck is still fairly big. My dad LOVES it! It drives really smooth too.

Re: Suggest a "big" SUV
I have the Infinity JX - I HATE it.
Test drive and pay attention to blind spots.
Our next truck will be a Lincoln Navigator - we have them in our fleet at work and they're just workhorses. Plus a lot of options come standard.

Re: Suggest a "big" SUV
Our next vehicle will probably be a Suburban or Yukon XL. They're the only ones that have enough room for the third row to be comfortable and still have some room behind it.

The Nissan Armada is probably the roomiest SUV I've been in and with HUGE trunk space. The leg room in the backseat is like sitting in first class.
Not hard to drive or manuever either

I figured that but if the JX has bad blind spots, I would think the QX does too...

Re: Suggest a "big" SUV
I had the Yukon Denaili XL and I really loved it and still do but I hated how big it was (close to 20ft. long). I have 3 kids and I am almost done with strollers so my needs changed. I had captains in the middle and then the 3rd row. You need to get the XL. The regular will give you no truck space. In Dec. I traded it in for the Infiniti and I am so happy. I have captain chairs again in the middle but I took out the console so my older on climbs in the back. With the 3rd row I have decent trunk space. I usually split the 3rd row and keep the smaller side down. There really isn't much out there. I had an Amarda and HATED it. My brother told me not to get it and I didn't listen. It just didn't feel like a solid car.

I had an Armada for a short time and have to agree 100% with the above statement.
It's a great SUV with a huge amount of space, even with the third row seating.
I've also had an Expedition and by comparison I think the Armada is WAY nicer.
