How big is your car? SUV or sedan?

I've been carless most of my life. When I did drive, I had sedans. DH wants me to get an SUV. I prefer a sedan. I don't feel comfortable driving a big car. DH prefers me to drive a mommy car and wants to get a sportier car for himself. I'd prefer him to have an SUV.

Just wondering how big the other moms' cars are.

Do you have 1 big car and 1 smaller car? 2 big cars? 2 small cars?

I think we will probably end up with 1 big car and 1 small car. We just have to decide who gets what.

I drive a Honda crv. Good for all ds stuff, and not a minivan. Im anti minivans

Dh drives my old car, a ford focus. 4 door.

I have the Honda CRV and my dh has the Accord. I like both,w e switch from time to time. The Accord is a bit roomier in the backseat. The CRV is small but a good size for me to drive I'm short and its good in the snow. Right now I only have one child but I think it would be ok for 2.

I drove a civic coupe all of my driving life, and I never thought I could get used to anything else.

We have a Murano, and I swear it feels like home to me. I never thought I'd be so comfortable in a big car.

We still have the coupe, and DH takes it to work on days I drive DS around. Its much better around the city, and we're not as paranoid about bumps and dents on it since its a few years old now.

I had a '85 grand prix - the thing was a boat. Then went to smaller boxy sedans.

When my Sentra died, I got a Jeep Cherokee - I thought it was HUGE. After a few months (except from really narrow roads) it didn't phase me anymore. I can actually park it better then the smaller cars I had.

we are a one car household right now and we have a subaru outback which i cannot recommend enough. its awesome. if/when we get a second car DH wants to get a Subaru Forrester and the outback will be mine I rarely drive and am uncomfortable driving anything big but have no problems with the outback.

You can try out a crossover SUV - they drive like a car, but are higher up so you have the SUV feel. LOVE crossovers.

With the 2, i was driving a Jetta, and it was perfectly fine. We got a minivan with #3 coming.
If we were going to stay 2 kids, I would have no problem with the sedan.The Jetta actually has great trunk space.
So now DH is driving the Jetta and I drive the minivan.

When I was pregnant with DS we upgraded from 2 sedans to 1 sedan, 1 crossover.

The crossover lease was up last month. So we figured with a 2.5 year old and twins on the way, mini van was the way to go. As much as I hate to admit it, I LOVE it!!!

I keep going bigger and higher. Right now I'm driving a Honda pilot and I love it.

I had a CRV and now I have a Mazda 5. It's a very compact minivan that does not look like a minivan. I did not want a huge boat. It's perfect!

We're both big truck people, although not monster trucks in my book. I have a CUV - a 7 passenger Buick Enclave. DH has a 4-door Jeep Wrangler Sahara. DH had a little Chevy Cobalt since it was excellent on gas and it was a cheap commuter car, but it was so tiny for him, so we still have it, but it just sits unused.

We have 1 SUV & 1 Car. I love my Toyota Highlander (It's so comfy compare to the JEtta I got previous). DH is always in his car Honda Civic. I love SUV and very anti-minivan

ive always had suvs
now i have a cross over
nissan rogue. I love it. its like a small murano.
dh has a charger.

Dh drives a ford pick up for his business. I drive a Grand Cherokee. We are looking to upgrade to a Tahoe, Yukon or Escalade in the next couple of months.

Right now I have a Santa Fe and DH has a pick-up that DD never goes in.

I love my Santa Fe and never thought i'd like something bigger than my Mazda3. My lease is up in August and I actually want something even bigger. I even grazed on the mini van idea, but I don't know if i'm ready for that step yet- especially with only one baby

We both have SUV's. DH has a Ford Explorer and I have a Toyota Highlander. But the Highlander is a pretty big car for me, and I do like how it drives but I hate parking it and HATE that there is no truck space when you use the 3rd row. But with DD #1 getting older, I am doing more driving of kids so I need a 3rd row. But I cannot fit a stroller in the trunk with the 3rd row so I can't take the baby anyplace when I'm driving other people if I need the stroller.

we just got rid of our accord and got the mazda cx9. i drove it to work for the first time today. i've never driven anything so big but i really like it and it has a ton of room.

I just traded in my Acura MDX for a 2011 Ford Explorer (bit bigger than the MDX) and DH has a BMW sedan.

i only have one veh. but its a ford edge and i LOVE it...i have awd its the perfect size for me.
if i wont the lottery i would get another in a heartbeat!

I have an SUV and I love it. Its a Chrysler Aspen - 7 seats with a Hemi.

I can never get into a small car after having SUV's all these years - we had a Jeep Commander before this.
