suggestions for a birthday party?

i'm trying to find a fun place to celebrate my 28th bday w/my friends. i'm looking for something fun and reasonably priced for a saturday night to go for dinner and drinks on long island. I want to stay on long island, anywhere in nassau or western suffolk.

TIA for your ideas!! xo

Re: suggestions for a birthday party?

We just went out for my friends 30th.

Went to Tai Show in Massapequa for a hibachi dinner (about 10 of us) - that was fun!!

Afterwards we went to Millers Ale House in Levittown. Don't recommend it. I'm 30 and felt out of touch there. Even though I ran into old friends from HS and whatnot - it def had a couple of 30 yr olds dressing like 21 yr olds. Not my cup of tea. It WAS funny though.

I LOVE Strike. Too bad they got rid of go-karting though. Nothing like drunken go-karting.

what?!! they got rid of the go-karts?!! Where else can you get loaded and then be encouraged to drive as fast as you can? That's lame!

ETA: Tai Show is really good and hibatchi is always fun with a lot of people!
