suggestions for Godparents gifts??
Its the one thing left i havent done!! Can you recommend what youve given as a gift to your BABIES Godmother, and Godfather??

I'm sure this isn't the answer you're looking for, but we did not give gifts either time. I also have two godchildren and did not receive any gifts.

I bought personalized pens from Things Remembered, with a heart and cross that said Godmother, Godfather on them. I also bought my sister (godmother) a locket bracelet from Red Envelope, with DDs pic in it.

We did not give to the godparents, and I am a godparent to 3 children, I have never received a gift (other than the honor of being godmother).

we're not doing gifts either. My mom said its not something my family has ever done. LIF is where I "thought" I had to.

I bought her a Precious moments frame and a precious moments figurine. (She collects precious moments) Dunno what to do for the Godfather.

Hallmark has cute inexensive frames. As a thank you, I put a picture of DC in it and gave it to them afterwards.

oddly enough my dh AND one of my bf's just told me they never got a gift for being a Godparent either..i thought it was customary, hmm, ill just go with something lil..

I am a godparent to my neice and did not receive a gift. I just thought i was a nice sentimental thing to do for the Godparents for my son (I am sappy that way)

I never got a gift for being a Godmother besides the Honor.. but I did give my dds Godparents a frame each.. also getting my other dds Godparents something too.
Reason I gave my first dds Godparents a gift was b/c my sis (the godmother) has done soo much for me over my entire life.. and couldnt give her something and not give bro (godfather)... and now with my other dd Godparents I just want to give a little something also.
