suggestions needed for 1st B-day Harvest Theme favors
I was thinking of doing some sort of pumpkin craft bag for each kid but am not sure what to do put on the inside.
Also, I'm gonna have a corner set up with bales of hay and the whole harvest look and wanted to take polaroid pics to make foam frames for the kiddies, good idea?
I'm trying to go as thrifty as possible. 
Any other suggestions?

Make your own pumpkin patch and let the kids go pumpkin picking. You can even have them paint or decorate their pumpkins afterwards.
We do this at family reunions for the kids...take the hay and make it a hunt for candy and money. Candy and money gets tossed around and on the hay and the kids go crazy looking for it in the hay. Lay down some sheets so it's easy to pick up the hay.

We did the pumpkin hunt thing also at my S's 1st birthday - Went to one of those alal you can fit in a wheel barrow pumpkin farms, got TONS of pumpkins and hid them in my yard- Then set up a table for the kids to decorate them w/ sticky foam pieces from Oriental Trading no paint, no mess) It was a big hit

You can also do candy/caramel apples , they love those too ...
