Summer activities/programs for toddlers
How many activities are you putting your DC in over the summer? What are you putting them in?
DS is 3 and will be going to camp at his nursery school 3 days a week from 9-11:30 but it is only for the month of July.
He got into the swimming class at the Aquatic Center at Eisenhower on Sundays which will run from mid-June to August (10 wks).
I am thinking about putting him in soccer as well but not sure if I am over doing it. He likes to be busy and I like to keep him busy. DH also works alot so it gives us stuff to do when he's not home.

Re: Summer activities/programs for toddlers
My 4.5 year old is going to camp part-time for 6 weeks. I also hope to get her into swim lessons.
The 3 year old has no plans yet. I may do a Little Gym thing once a week or something like that.
Also, I just found out that AMF bowling alleys are doing a kids bowl free thing... Free bowling So maybe we'll do that a few times.
Otherwise, toying with joining the pool club and probably just hanging around in the yard/park.

Re: Summer activities/programs for toddlers
My three year old will do mini camp 3x a week for 3 hours. It runs 10:30-1:30 so the hours are kind of smack in the middle of the day.
We will also go to library story time once a week .
I originally was going to only put her in camp twice a week and then a gymnastics class. I dont know if I can swing the gymnastics now that I upped her to three days of camp.
I am sure we will be spending a bunch of time at the town pool as well.

Crissy Ale will be going to Mommy & Me and an Art Class at the Mother's Center I belong to....it's great and a great price too!! And, all the moms bring the baby brother/sister too.
She'll also keep going to Spanish, but I know that isn't for everyone, lol...
ETA - and hopefully lots of playdates! Yay!!

Where is the Mother's Center? It seems they have a lot of great programs that you put Ale in.
ETA: the reasons I am unsure about putting him in another acitvity is because I know we will be done alot of playdates I dont want to take away from his social life or mine

Here is the link for the info on the swimming lessons. The only thing is you had to register by the 10th and they released the names/classes of people who got in this week. Next they go off a waiting list. There is a date on the website when you can call to see if there are any spots open. It is $55 for 10 weeks.
