WWYD--regarding summer activities

So I am a SAHM and I have a certain budget I use for our activities/classes etc.
I have been looking into joining the YMCA nearby, it would be a good chance for me to work out, there is a kids gym, indoor pool and he would get some experience being in someone elses care in the daycare room while I am working out.
The other option is to join our local community pool. I am in NJ, its a 4 pool complex with infant & kiddie pools that is supposed to be great. It would be so much fun for him.
Part of me just wants to join the pool bc it would be fun, but I like the idea of the Y too bc its something for me (I would love the chance to work out or take a class)---we are also TTC, so there is a chance I could be pregnant. There is no way I can do both with my budget. WWYD??

HOw was your last pregnancy? did you have to be put on limited activity? My only concern with the weight lifting is if you did join the one where you could work out and then got the BFP.. would your doctor tell you not to work out.. then you would have wasted the money. KWIM?

Are you the type of person who will remain dedicated to going to some place like the Y? I know this is the reason I stopped going to the gym.

I went into labor prematurely, so while I was without any restrictions last time and was very active, I don't know what will happen next time. There was no "real" reason for my early delivery so perhaps I won't have any restrictions.

I have always been dedicated when I had a gym membership, but I havent really worked out since having DS so I worry more about being too tired to go after running around after DS!
