summer with an infant?
maybe a silly question but what does everyone do with the DC during summer? i was a beach bum but obviously won't be spending the whole day on a beach with dc now. aside from going to a park. ideas? thanks
eta: how hot is too hot for them?

Why can't you go to the beach? I was at the beach all summer with both kids. so long as you bring the right stuff with you, you are fine.

I'll be in my yard with the kids, the pool, I'm going to the beach a lot, I have one of those family tents so I will set that up.

dc will be 8-9 months this summer. the beaches near me aren't that great. what would she nap in? what could i bring?

DD was about 4 months old last summer, i would bring her to the beach, i had a tent for her to sleep in, put a big hat on her. she loved it.

Well, I'm not saying to take her in the water, but the sand is fun! Get yourself a pop-up tent, pail and shovels and she can hang out in there. Also get a good umbrella.
It'll be great!
