SUPER EXCITED... School related!
I won't go into too much details (I don't want to jinx myself!!!) but I am super excited.
EJ was screened and accepted today into our top choice school.
He was such a little trooper. They loved him. It totally helps that he is a cutie (yes, I am totally biased).
I still have a few more screening scheduled with other schools just because you just never know!!!!
It's a good day! I have butterflies in my stomach.
I guess only a mom with a kid with special needs can relate about what it means.

that is GREAT news...
we have our CPSE meeting in a month and i have 4 schools picked out and waiting until then to send the apps out and then have AJ screened.

we have our CPSE meeting in a month and i have 4 schools picked out and waiting until then to send the apps out and then have AJ screened.
I started my tours with some schools right (like a few weeks) before our CPSE meeting. I felt it was better for us. I felt more "in control" before the CPSE. I had an idea about what I wanted. Then I told our CPSE chairman all the school sI wanted the packet to go to. I just felt more prepared. My district was very receptive. People saw me as proactive at the schools, etc..

the only school we havent toured yet (bc they dont allow it until your child is screened is Boces) we toured 3 schools already.
i hope he gets into your top choice
