OMG..My knees and ankles dissapeared I was so swollen..I looked like I has Shreks feet..Even my DH was like holy hell!! ..Oh and it hurt so I could barley walk..I couldnt even fit my feet into a sneaker..or even my uggs..

i am 10 days pp and still very swollen. i cant bend my right ankle - dr said its normal.
i was on iv fluids for 4 days so im guessing it will take longer for the swelling to go down

I had 16 bags of fluid during labor. Yes, it was a long labor.  My feel swelled up once I got home, and where gone within a week. It felt so weird I felt the water swishing in my feet.

It happened to me. I broke a pair of Uggs trying to fit my elephant feet in them. The nurses said it was common. It went away within a week. Congrats!!

that was the worst!!! no one told me that was going to happen and i could barely walk. it was so uncomfortable and it lasted like a week

this happened to me last time! I had zero swelling during pregnancy and then after I got home from the hospital I was sooo swollen. Doc said it was normal, fluid retention (I had a C )

My feet were so horribly swollen after I had DS - my toes were flared out because they were so puffy. It looked like my feet were going to explode! And so painful! I was convinced something was very seriously wrong, I had never seen anything like that or heard about it from any of my mommy friends.
My OB said it was perfectly normal and that it would go away. I had to go home in SLIPPERS because my feet wouldn't fit into any shoes. It took over 2 weeks for the swelling to go down and much longer for them to go back to normal.
