Swimming pool Safety
What will you be using for you DS this summer in the pool??
We have a swim canopy like this:
This year DS is 1..should I get a swim vest also?

YES! to the swim vest. God forbid that tube tipped..
DD has one (vest)..and swimmies. 16 months old.

Our instructor at Safe t swim said not to do the swim vest, that it prohibits them learning how to swim even though they promote learning how to swim on the packaging. He suggested the arm swimmies. We have that float too and an infant life jacket for the boat.

I had the exact thing you have above and used it alone with both my kiddies when they were younger....they never tipped it was great! I was never more than a arm's length away from them when we did use it!
It is great tube and love that it travels so compact!

I would think that would be fine as long as someone is always in the pool watching the baby like a hawk- as I am sure you will be.

Thanks Ladies. I can't wait to see DS in the pool. we had him in it last year but he was only 3 months. While he loved it i think he might like it more now.
