Swimming Pools & Homeowners Ins.
For me, as much as I love pools, I groan each time I see a house I love with one.
For those with in-ground pools, what is your homeowners insurance like?

When we first bought the house it was $7 or $800 for the year. Each year it has gone up due to being in a hurricane area  (we have yet to be hit by a hurricane in the 2.5 years living in this house) and now we pay $1200.
When shopping around we didn't have an issue at all. Actually we had a few people tell us they wouldn't insure us if we had a trampoline in our backyard.

They want to see a fence around your property and if you can around the pool specifically, otherwise it is not a problem at all.
Trampolines seem to be an issue though.
