Swimming TTC
My husband and I swim at an indoor public pool at our gym about every other nite. Do u guys think during my fertile time we (or just me or even just him) should not swim during my fertile time. Could the chlorine be damaging to either one of us? any thoughts?

Re: Swimming TTC
You should continue to do all your normal activities!!!!!
The only thing I have heard that could be detrimental to TTC that is remotely related to swimming is spending a lot of time in a hot tub can be bad for sperm.

Re: Swimming TTC
I have heard that doctors will say no swimming after IUI's and other treatments, but I never heard no swimming after BD'ing. If you are concerned, ask your doctor.

we have been trying for 3 years on and off. all our tests were fine. i'd rather to be safe then sorry regarding swimming. I will take off 48 hours after BDing. (i read that time duration on a pregnancy board)
Ok - Let me ask u all for your opinions. I have a 28 day cycyle (almost like clockwork) since this is probably one of the last months we are gonna try w/ out medical help, what kind of babydancing schedule should we follow? and dont say everyday cause that wont' happen - realistically -- how bout this: day 11-15 then 17 and 19? does that sound ok? my opt usually get + around day 13.

Re: Swimming TTC
deanna's plan
This has been posted before, but it's a pretty good plan to follow if there are no known issues.
you mentioned that you have been trying for over 3 years on and off. I went to an RE after only trying for 8 months. I was temping, using the fertility monitor, and using preseed. the RE said that after trying and doing everything that we had done, we should of been pregnant. I had my initial consult and then a few weeks later had my first iui. good luck.
