Switch to Level 2 nipple?
The ped said to do it at 6 months and we tried it once and DS spit up and gagged so we went back to #1, and he still seems OK with it.
He drinks just fine, is there a time when I should definitely switch?

Re: Switch to Level 2 nipple?
I would switch when you notice it's taking much longer to finish a bottle, he starts getting frustrated, not finishing his bottles cause of it.
I changed to level 2 advent nip with my 1st at 5 months, and she stayed with level 2 til she was weaned at 18 months.
My youngest i changed to level two around 3 months old, and level 3 at 6 months, and at 10.5 months still on level 3 doc browns.
It's def depends on the baby. The ages are just recs, def go by your baby.

Re: Switch to Level 2 nipple?
DD is 10 months and never liked level 2. We still use level 1 for her. I'm not even going to change at this point as she'll be giving up the bottle soon anyway

Re: Switch to Level 2 nipple?
Right, but what happens when we switch from level 1 to, say, a sippy cup?
It's gonna be like opening the floodgates, no?
