switching from bottles to sippy cups
So last week, we decided to switch DS from bottles to sippy cups. He has been fighting it and has not taken to the change. He refuses to drink milk from the sippy cup. He is 14 mths old - am I making the change too early? Any ideas?
I should add he has been drinking from a sippy cup since he was 6 mths old but only one or twice a day. The thought was to switch him over completely and get rid of the bottles.

Re: switching from bottles to sippy cups
anyone? Please reply I would like to know too.
I'm sorry I hijacked your post.
DS turned 1 and tried the sippy cup but he drinks too much at one time and he makes a big mess or chokes on it.
Really ever since he was born I had to keep him in whatever nipple stage (Avent) longer, before switching to the next. He takes too much liquid and then chokes on it. He pretty much was on level 2 just a few months ago. He's been drinking from level 3 and 4 now.
Any suggestions?
